I am a relation to Ann Walker Dickie who was married to Hector Dickie Jr Father Hector Dickie I have found hector Dickie Sr in the Revolution pay roys he was a Quarter Master
I have been looking for all my relations in All Line of the Family and there Children to do a complete big family Tree of all of them I live in the USA and have access to Lapeer County Census Thanks to the person here that wrote all he did I can now look for more names I have connected so of them as I was always told half of Lapeer County Imlay City was a relative to me my father is a Walker I have been told my great ggg grandfather John was visiting his sister for a while over there we assume it is Ann Dickie and he died there yet I find no records to this his name was John Walker and died 1855 he might have had another daughter there but we are not sure as he had a lot of children as did Hector Dickie Jr. I have pront up all of the treads here and will look for more names and see what I come up with for everyone but I also would like to find out more about hector and Ann Children as they also did live near by is there any living children from this family there off springs grand children excedra left in Ontario that might even know so more information I just came accross this Thread as it is not one I usually use to look for information What I do is research all I find and try and find the proof so I can then add it to the tree I do not try and still anyones hard work well I guess I do but I research father into what people put down to see if I can find more out and if I do they get added to the big Tree I want it to connect right and I'm sure you know what I mean on this proof is inportant in doing our tree. I had to laugh at some of what Joseph Howard wrote as this is stuff I look for as it can have clues in it to finding more information out and can add some spice to our tree for more interesting reading when we write I Thank him for adding all of what he wrote Is he a Dickie family member I wonder but very interesting reading if any one wishs to contact me at my web mail it is sweetdar7@comcast.net There is alot of Dickie listed in New Brunswick early files not all but some that this can help me James and Sarah are for sure in Lapeer Census as is a Charles I just could not figure out there order as this paper posted will be of great help to me.
