Has anyone found our family crest. A cousin of mine told me that he thought we might have used the same one as Dickens, but I haven't seen that either.

looking for information on the Dickens/Dickins of halifax county and caswell county. my gggreat grandfather was Isreal/isriel Dickens according to 1850 census he was a coach maker. born in halifax county nc. i believe his father was on eaton dickins b) abt 1798 halifax county. died 1860 rockingham county. were I'm from. eaton's wife is listed as Judith(Lucy)in the 1850 and 1860 census. judith was living with Isreal in 1870 she was 78. can any one help with this line?

Raymond DeWitt Dickins

I am looking for information on Raymond DeWitt Dickins for a friend. He was her birthfather.

Felisha Kay Dickins was born 19 July 1969 in Humble, Harris, Texas to Elaine McDonald and Raymond DeWitt Dickins. She was the second child, the first was her brother, Guinn DeWitt Dickins, born 20 Feb 1968, also in Humble, Harris, Texas. There was a third child, a boy, probably born in 1971 or 1972. He was adopted by a different family than Felisha and Guinn.

Felisha is open to contact from Raymond, or another family member, if it is wished by Raymond, or someone in the family. She is extremely interested in family information, including any medical history that is available.

Felisha is now 37 years old with 4 children in N Central Texas.

John Dickins is mentioned in the will of Joseph Brady/Brady of Chowan County, North Carolina in 1752-53. His mother was listed as Suffrah Dickins. There is also listed a grandaughter, Eady Dickins. I was wondering if anyone was familiar with this family. Thanks

I am looking for ancestors from Luvir and Margaret Dickins/Dickens . There were both in Westchester Co.North and South Salem in the 1820 census. Would like to hear from any of their family.They were probably married after that census. They were children from Mordecai Dickens.My gr.gr.gr.grandfather was Robert Dickens born in 1776 in that area.

Matilda may have come from London I found one reference to a Matilda Brandon in the GRO index for 1885. Any information regarding Matilda and Fredrick would be appreciated.

Looking for anything on Charles Dickins born 1787 Buckingham, Buckinghamshire.England He joined the 22nd light dragoons in 1804 and went to India where he died in 1859. He married Ann then a Susannah Dorothy Reilly a widow in 1821, Have all the family from there onwards but need to find his English family.

The woman,who as family rumor has it,grand mother,Louise Dickin,of the 1930 census of Rocky Mount, NC, was 40 years old, born in North Carolina, somewhere in the Edgecombe county area, ( as family rumor has it,she was at least part Indian) but the census of Rocky Mount , NC , 1930 says she was a negroe, married, a border and a farm hand of my grandfather, Joe Cosby.and she could neither read or write. My grand father,Joe Cosby was mentioned in the 1930 census of Rocky Mount as a negroe man( as family rumor has it he was atleast part Irish) 59 years old , rented his farm , could neither read or write,and that he was married to Nanie (Brown) Cosby, who was 48 years old and could neither read or write.
If any one can set things straight for me and tell me which one of these woman is my grand mother? I would gladly appreciate it .
