Dickinson, Robert Lee, born in Oklahoma and a long time Newport Beach, CA. resident, passed away July 8, 2008. He was a CCIM commercial real estate developer and property manager for the last 30 years. Before that he was an engineer for McDonald-Douglas for 25 years. Robert served in WWII and Korea in the Air Force. After the war he earned 2 degrees in engineering from Oklahoma University and a master's from Oklahoma State University. Robert will be remembered for always being optimistic, and a source of inspiration to others. He was preceded in death by son, Dale, and older brother, Warren. Robert is survived by his wife of 61 years, Vivian; daughter, Denise Blocher; grandson, Andrew; brother, Ralph, and sister, Jo Rickey. Services were held July 12, 2008 at Pacific View Memorial Chapel in Newport Beach, CA. Donations in his memory may be made to the Boy Scouts of America-Crater Lake Council or the Hemophilia Foundation. The Neptune Society
