I look for further information about Caspar Jacob Dickmann (Dieckmann?) who was born April 25., 1784 in Altona near Hamburg, Germany. He moved to Denmark and died in 1857. I search information about his parents and other family in Germany further back.

William B. Dickmann family, New York

I am searching for information about the William B. Dickmann family that lived in Queens in 1900.
His second wife Hanna and he had the following children after they were married:
* William Frederick
* Edward
* Elsie
Hanna's children from her first marriage were:
* Edith
* Rajner
* Helena

From what I have been told, Hanna died about 1906 (?). William, Edward went on the Orphan Train to Iowa in 1913. John (son from the father's first marriage?) , also came to Iowa, but I do not know what year.

I have been unable to find more information about the father William and mother Hanna. If anyone has information, or even an old picture I would be most appreciative to know.

I am looking for the birth place for Peter Dickmann bAug 14, 1840. Family records indicate Manna Germany. He married Margareta Kuhlman b Aug 20, 1842 in Holstein they raised a family of nine children, then came to the USA in 1884 and settled near Grand Island NE.
