My grandmother Edith Carrie Humphries nee Swift re-married a widower Arthur DICKS in 1921 at Hinton Charterhouse in Somerset, UK. Arthur's siblings were Henry, Emily, William, Ida, Frank, Fanny, Albert, Eliza Olive, Flora and Sidney who lived at Freshford (between Bath and Bradford-on-Avon). Their father was Job DICKS born 1853 at Lacock in Wiltshire, UK. Job's siblings were Emily, Phineas, Eli, and Mark. Their father was Thomas DIX born 1814 at Melksham, Wiltshire to Peter DIX. If anyone can help to fill in any information on this family then I would be very grateful.
