So, I think we have a match with the letter. Are you able to scan it and email a copy? Are there return or mailing addresses? I'm really interested in seeing what we can learn from this letter!
John Dickson, Jr., christened 18 Apr. 1822, who married Mary Bell, of St. Mungo, had the following siblings:
Ann (1818-1882)
Jean (1820)
Margaret (1823)
James (1829)
Robert Dickson, b 1849, son of John and Mary Bell, had the following siblings:
Thomas, b. 21 Apr 1851, Hoddam
William John, b. 7 Jan 1853, St. Mungo
I recently found two other living descendents of this Dickson family in Great Britain using genesreunited.com. Email me back, I look forward to talking to you! brentdickson@yahoo.com or dicksonbrent@bellsouth.net
