I am searching for information on my great-grandfather, Giovanni DiDonato. It is my understanding that Giovanni was from Campbasso, Italy. His father's name was Michael and his mother's name was Mary Colombo. He had a sister named Carmella. I do not know if there were other siblings.

Giovanni was born Jan. 17, 1866. He immigrated to the US about 1883. Giovanni married Chiarina Scala Pellegrino. They had 8 children: Clara, Elvira (Ida), Adeline (Katie), Harry Paul, Mary, Michael, Anthony, and Concetta (my grandmother). Giovanni was also known as John Dunn. He was a scrap metal dealer in northeast Philadelphia, Penna. Giovanni died Dec. 14, 1913 in Philadelphia, Penna.
