Searching for Witte and Grotjahn Ancestors

I am searching for the Ancestors of both Johanna Marie Augustine Grotjahn B:1843 D:1921 and Ernst Friedrich Wilhelm Witte to whom she was married. I do not have any birth dates for Ernst. Johanna's mother's name was Johanna Engel Luise Allewelt and her father was Heinrich Friedrich Christian Grotjahn. I have no dates for them. I also do not have names and dates for Ernst's mother and father. The information I have is limited but I believe they came from the general area of Hanover, Celle, Braunschweig and Wolfsberg. Their children eventually married into the Diekmann family and moved south to Delligsen, Oberthalhausen and Sterbfritz. Any help will be appreciated.

I'm looking for any information on the surnames and individuals listed below dating from the mid 1830,40s and back. I have a public tree where I have posted most of the dates etc. going forward from the mid 1830,40s on the children and families of these individuals : Johanne Reinhardt, Heinrich Diekmann, Johann Velbinger, Johanne Schlie, Heinrich Grotjahn, Johanna Allewelt, Gertrud Sperzel, Ernst Witte and parents. All were born in Germany in Hessen, Hanover area and the surrounding cities: Delligsen, Mottgers, Sterbfritz, Oberthalhausen, Oldendorf to name a few. Any information will be appreciated.

I am doing research on the 1904 Baltimore Fire Department and have a James A. DePuey serving at that time. I am interested in finding out his ethnic heritage. Other sources tell me the name can be Irish or French. Any help appreciated.-MH

Augusta DIEKMANN is my great great aunt. I am slowly researching my family tree, as it is quite large with that generation. I think they had kids just for farm labor ;)

I have a couple of documents with reference to W.F. GRIMSBY. His first name is Walker.

I hope that someone comes across this and can give me more information. I am related to August and Freda Diekmann, but know nothing about the family. I am related through Frank Diekman, who is one of their 6 sons (August, Carl, John, Harry, and Robert) and 3 daughters. My gggrandmother was also married to Carl Diekmann when she died.

I am looking for the parents and/or siblings of my great grandmother, Catharine (Katharina) Margaretha Diekmann. Catharine was born in Prussia, Aug. 26, 1828. She immigrated to U.S. 1847 or earlier.. She married first husband ,Henrich Voltmann, on Jul. 11, 1847 in St. Louis County,MO.They had one child, Stephen Henry. Henrich died abt. 1849. Catharine married second husband, Heinrich Wilhelm Blom, on Sep. 12, 1849 in St. Louis County, MO. Heinrich and Catharine took residence in Franklin County, MO. I am looking for the parents and siblings of my great grandmother Clara Maria Katharina Diekmann. Clara was born 28 Oct 1888, married 4 June 1908 (in St. Louis to Richard Terni) and died in 1976 in St. Charles. She had a younger sister named Maragaret. I have photos of Arthur, Alfred, Gerald and Anita but I'm not sure of the relationship to her. Also, Clara had 2 children named Richard, Jr. (Richie) and Clarence Norman Terni (my grandfather). Any info would be greatly appreciated.

George Diekmann: Died around 1952,he married a Maragret? I am sure they had children.
Florenz had a child Judith Diekmann from a previous relationship. She was given her maiden name. Florenz had married Raymond DePuey: Nov. 5, 1895-Jun. 9, 1961 and they had a child Sharon Depuey(which is my mother). if anyone knows anything, let me know. Thanks. Melissa
