This tree represents the descendents of Andreas Dierolf(Turolf), who was born January 06, 1734/35, and died December 06, 1804. He was listed as Andreas Turolf on the ship listing of the " Henrietta" which was qualified in Philadelphia on October 22, 1754. He was married to Catharina Fertig on October 18, 1761 in Trappe Luthern Church in Augustus by Rev. Melchior Muhlenberg, PA.

We are looking for descendants of Henry Dierolf (born June 1840) who immigrated to US from Baden Germany around 1867. His wife Catherine and three of their children were also born in Germany and may have immigrated with him or shortly after. Their children were Charles, Kate (Catherine), and Henry A. (my ggrandfather) born in Germany and Bertha (b. July 1873 in PA). Charles married Elizabeth and their children were Bertha, William, Charles, Arthur, Florence, Edward, and Ester. Bertha married John Niemeyer and they had two sons George and Harold. Henry married Anna Kintzel and their children were Emma, Henry Fredrick, George William, Edward G., Paul, Fredrick B., and my grandmother Alma Ann. Henry and Catherine are both buried in Wilkes-barre and it is believed that some of their children stayed in the area. My grandmother married and moved to Detroit MI around the Great Depression. I know that Charles and several of his children stayed in the area. A contact at Good Shephard Lutheran Church said that Ester died within the last 10 years and lived her whole life in Wilkes-barre. The Henry Dierolf family owned a blacksmith shop and store on Canal Street and lived on Kidder Street when he died. His son Charles and family lived there in 1910 Census while Catherine moved in with her daughter Bertha. We are looking for our cousins! Where are you???

He was born Mar 17, 1892, believe born in Penn.
Died Jan. 1976, in Michigan.
Parents, unknown, believe Fathers name was also Henry Dierolf.

Hello, first I am not related to the Dearoff in any way. My uncle was kind enough to take me to an old barn, where there are a lot of books which are about to be placed into a hole and burned. I saved some bibles and other genealogy documents, now, the task of trying to keep them in someones family. I do live in Pa. and hate seeing important genealogy burned or lost to time.

I saved this bible, the outside is missing but, the marriage certificate and death date of Henry are in the bible.

Seeking info on Daniel Dierolf and wife Elizabeth. Birth and death dates are unknown, but their daughter Abigail (b. 1812 d. 1896) married Charles Drumheller (b. 1814 d. 1889)in Earl Township, Berks, PA. Daniel may have had a brother Andrew who is listed in the 1790 Earl Twnship census. Searching for Daniel Elizabeth's parents, where they came from, and the year they arrived in PA. Any info helpful.
