      <description>Albuquerque Journal - March 14, 1998&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Roman J. Dietzler, 77, a resident of Albuquerque since 1949, passed away at his home March 12, 1998. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty Dietzler of the family home; one daughter, Carle Dunn and husband, William; one son, Thomas Dietzler and wife, Peggy; and granddaughter, Tobie, all of Albuquerque; two sisters, Berdena Dietzler of Apache Junction, AZ, and Agnes Sundholm of Iron Mountain, Mich; one brother, Hilbert Dietzler of Wisconsin Rapids, WS; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Temster Union. His great love in life was his dogs, his family and sports. He loved to hunt, fish, play golf, bowl, and baseball, in fact he played Semi-Pro Baseball while in the service and for two years after. A reception will be held Saturday, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m., in the stateroom at Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE. Private interment will be in Sandia Memory Gardens. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE, in charge of arrangements.</description>
