There was a Patrick Diggins that was born in 1819, and died in 1886 in Killury, Ballnascreena, Ireland. His son, Michael, farmed in Harrison County, Iowa, and had 7 or 8 children there.

A Maurice Diggins (b. 1864 d. 1909 ) immigrated from Killury to Omaha, NE around 1881. Johanna Regan was his second wife. He operated a tavern in South Omaha.
