Iam looking for any info on a John Dighton born Mar 1794 supposidly in Mass but he could of been born NY or Maine too. He went to Erie Co Pa early 1800s and then to Oh around 1840 and then to ILL where he supposidly died in 1866 or so but have not found him in family plot there. Need info on him and any children know of one which was Andrew Jackson Dighton of Piatt Co Monticello ILL. this one is proven thru Bible records that were Andrews. he was quoted saying he had 13 bro and sis. there was an Alfred that might of been a bro to him this was my gr gr gr grandfather and I have no info on him either supposidly died in Monticello in 1860 but no record.
