My line of Sturdivant's comes from Elizabeth Sturdivant's brother, John Sturdivant / Sarah Harrison, John was my gr-gr-gr-gr grandfather, through his son Samuel Sturdivant>>to daug Sarah Sturdivant (Chism). They all lived in Tuscaloosa and Pickens Co., Samuel went to Webster Co. Ms., next to Calhoun Co-and raised 14 children there, some remained in Ms., and some went to Texas. several of John and Elizabeth's brothers and sisters remained in Tuscaloosa/Pickens Co. area, and are buried there. I have quite a bit on the Strudivant side, and some of the lines they married into. but also have a few that I haven't been able to find much on, so hope we can fill in some blanks for each other--
