Surnames: Dillon, Collins, Lyons, Lyon, Costello, McCarthy, Sheehey, Sheehy, Sweeney, Sweeny, Nolan,Finucane,Maloney, Moloney, Keane, Kane, O'Brien, O'Connor, Connor, Shine
Looking for information and/or descendants of early Dillon lines from Pittsburgh; Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Specifically, Dillon families that can trace back to County Kerry, Ireland. Many of these Dillons immigrated to the United States between 1848 and 1865. Some family members remained in Pittsburgh. Others moved west to Iowa and may have lived in the towns of Keokuk and Wapello. Many of these Dillon's married into the following families:

Collins, Lyons/Lyon, Costello, McCarthy, Sheehey/Sheehy, Sweeney/Sweeny, Nolan, Finucane, Maloney/Moloney, Keane/Kane, Kelly, O'Brien, O'Connor (Connor), Shine
