I am looking for infromation on my great-grandmother, Caroline Dills. She was born June 20, 1876(I think) in North Carolina. She married Gus Hardy on June 1, 1890. She died on Dec. 4, 1956. Her obitutary lists her name as Callie, but census records show her as Caroline. Her father is listed on the 1920 census record as living with them. He is shown to be N.R. Dills. Gus and Caroline has eight children. They were Sylvester, Carrie, James A., Frank Alexander, Virgil, Gertie, Melissa, and Louisa. She was living in Tunnel Hill, Ga. when she died and is buried in Dogwood Cemetery in Catoosa Co., Ga. Also someone told me she was Cherokee.
