Classification: Query
Surnames: DIMMICK, LLOYD, NEY, DUEY
Have been trying for years to make the connection between my father's line and that of the DIMMICKs that came from England by way of Mass., Conn., N.Y., and northeastern Penna. First one I have any data on was C. Fred DIMMICK, who died in Pottsville (Schuylkill Co.) PA after 1865. His wife MAY have been Catharine ____.
His son was Charles (b.c.1825, d.3-12-1894 in Pottsville) and he may have had a daughter Margaret. Charles DIMMICK md. Mary Ann LLOYD (b.2-1829, d.5-7-1902, Pottsville). They had eight children: Samuel (md. Ann Rebecca ___), Ellen, Clara, Mary (md. Wm. BOHLER), Kate (md. Harry SANDS), Maggie, and Frederick Charles (md. Annie NEY).
Frederick and Annie NEY DIMMICK had two sons: Frederick (1889-1958) and my father William (1892-1957).
Religious affiliation: Lutheran. Any connections for C.Fred DIMMICK would be much appreciated.
