Hi from New Zealand. Does anyone know of any Dinis in Corsica (a French island) My great grandfather Pedro Antonio Dini (could be Pietro I'll have to check with my Dad) was born in Corsica to Italian parents. He was a sword swallower and fire eater and maybe an acrobat in a circus. This is very early in my search (as in, I don't anything apart from what my Dad says). He came to New Zealand perhaps in the circus and married a New Zealand born woman with English ancestory called Minnie Florence Morehouse. They had seven children four girls and three boys. Only my grandmother Lucia is left. Only my Grandmother and her brother Antonia had Italian names. I am expecting that Lucia is a family name and Antonio probably is too. Other names of my Grandmother's silings were Robert, William, Florence, Betty and Minnie, most of these names seem to be from the maternal side. I'd love to hear any information.
