I am trying to trace my family tree back to Italy. My grandfather was James DiNovo and he was married to Concetta DiNovo. They lived in Albany New York. Can anyone help me here?

I don't know if you check this site anymore, but I thought I would write you anyway. I married Frank Dinovo's great grandson, Robert Dinovo. I believe I have a pic of Augustino and Josephine. I believe I have the right people because Bob's Grandma had a daughter named josephine. Bob's father's name was Salvadore, but they called him Ted, as Frank could not say Salvadore. Hope this helps.

I am the Grand Daughter of Gus (augustine) anthony Dinovo..born in New York 1910? d. 1991? married Florence Salamone.still living in Texas..
they moved to Columbus..and his whole family is there..so you must be one. He also had a 1st cousin named Augustine Anthony Dinovo...

Well... I can't give you any info, but we are distantly related! My great-great grandparents were Augustino and Josephine. My great-grandfather was Salvatore (who I think went by Sam.)

I am looking for the father of Mariano Dinovo. He was born in Italy. His wife's name is Pearl Tedesco and I believe his mother's name is Angel Fedesco. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, Rosalie is my Mother-in-law and Angie is her Sister. Julie might be Angie's Daugter-in-law. We don't have a whole lot of info on her family history and I think Angie has most of the pictures. My mother-in-law's maiden name is DiNovo, her father was Cosmo DiNovo. I don't know if he had brothers or sisters, but that his cousins owned the DiNovo Car dealership in Steubenville and he traveled a lot to Canada to visit family. I am the son of Sam Dinovo who lived in Delaware, Ohio. I was named after your grandfather. There is a mistake as far as your listing of The sister sarafina, she lived in delaware and married Vincent Cirivello, had several children. There Grandmother's maiden name was Giuffre. Uncle Tonys Family consisted of Gus, Salvatore(Bill), Vincent, Josephine, Francis, Marie, Rosie, Lena. As far as I know only Josephine and lena are the only survivors. Many grandchildren. Hi Tony,
I asked my mother and she said that her family has always spelled their name as Dinovo. Her grandfather did come from Italy, but her father, had several brothers and sisters, and they all resided in Iowa (Council Bluffs), or close by. Sorry I couldn't be of anymore help.

I am looking for information on my Grandfather Antonio DiNovo who immigated from Termini Sicily and lived most of his life in Columbus, Ohio. He had 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Mike, Frank (Bellefountaine, Ohio), Sam (Delaware, Ohio) Joe (Sicily), Sarafina (Sicily) and Francis (Sicily). Their parents were Augustino and Josephine (nee Matteo)
