My Great-great-Grandmother was Elizabeth Dinsdale, b 1806, daughter of James Dinsdale (b 11 Sep 1763) and his second wife. Hannah Copeland. Elizabeth was born in Askrigg and came to the USA in 1852, with her young daughter Hannah (b in 1843) where she settled in Wisconsin near the children of her half-brother James, B in 1787. I would like to make contact with any other Dinsdales of this family. My Elizabeth was later married in 1852 to Salmon Rickard. They lived in Rickardsville, IA and both are buried there.
