Some of you may be familiar with the Dinwiddie Family reunion that was held for many years in Sedalia,MO an area where many of our ancestors lived for many years and some still do.

Anyway I have reserved a shelter at the Liberty Park in Sedalia for Saturday August 2nd, 2008, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, in hopes of reviving this annual reunion.

I have searched www.411.com and have located 190 Dinwiddies living in Missouri and with another 50 or so I'm familiar with, I'll be sending out 200-250 announcements in the next month or so.

But I have no way of searching for all the kinfolk with a different last name.

I will be bringing some activity type things, horse shoes, a washer tossing game, badminton, volleyball, a rope for maybe a tug-of-war, etc. There is a swimming pool at the park and they also have a small childrens train with an 1/8 mile track.

I was told by some of the older Family memebers that everyone used to bring a covered dish or two to share, and place settings and drinks for their family, and everyone would have a dinner. So maybe we could plan on that.

If this would be of interest to anyone, please just show up, you can participate in anything as much or as little as you like.
