Hello, my great great grandmother was Carolina Diodati from Spezzano Albanese (born app 1860-1868), Calabria, Italy. She married Pasquale Carelli & in the early 1900s she immigrated to philadelphia, Pa. An address for South Philly kept coming up : 727 S. 7th St. Seems like many people had put that address as their destination. Carolina moved to Manayunk on Main St. & re-married Pietro Triolo. Her son Vincenzo Carelli came over on the boat with daughters in 1921 & brought along a 17 year old girl named Maria Diodati & she stated her father was Domenico Diodati in Spezzano Albanese & she was going to live with her brother Ferdinando Diodati at 827 Christian St. They had relatives in Bristol Rhode Island as well. & Bristol Bucks County, Pa . Have you heard of any of these people? Also, Carolina Diodati's daughter Maria Teresa Carelli Born 1882 married Giorgio/George Dramis & his brothers owned a trophy shop in North Philly (& it also sold bowling equipment). I saw the post about the candy store & was wondering if you have any memories of this trophy shop that the Dramis brothers owned in North Philly. I cannot find the name of the store, But if I did ...then I could go on those names & maybe find his brothers descendants. Hoping you could help. Trying to find out who this Maria Diodati married.
