I have Ferdinand marrying M. Amelie Isabelle Jul 4th, 1874 St-Gervais Bellechasse. His parents were Louis Dion and Marie Beaulieu. They were married Aug 8, 1842 St-Gervais. His parents were Joseph Dion and Marie Anne Lamontagne married Nov 11, 1798 St-Charles bellechasse. Next is Guillaume Dion/Guyon and Genevieve Carrier Jan 12, 1765 also St-Charles. Next couple is in my tree. Joseph Guion and M Brigitte Bosche (some people have maiden name Morency but that is where she was born). Then it's Claude Guion/Marie Blouin Laviolette. Then Claude Guion/Catherine Colin and lastly Jean Guyon who brought the name to Canada.

I don't know if it has ever been proven if all Dion's come from Jean Guyon but I haven't seen any that didn't.
