Hi. I came to your post late via a Google search. I can't say too much about the Dirickson line, but Virginia Sheehan was the daughter of (?) Sheehan and Lynne Frances Tennille (1875-1940). Mrs. Lynne (Tennille) Sheehan married to Logan David McKee on 3 Aug 1902 in Monett, MO. Both Logan and Lynne McKee are buried in the Mount Calvary cemetery in Monett.

My great-grandfather George was born Oct. 2, 1846 in Kentucky and died Sept. 7, 1925 in Scott County Missouri. I don't currently have a death certificate. Hope to get one when I'm there over Labor Day. THanks! Betty

I have found that Richard Edward DIRICKSON (b. 1913 MO - d. 1986 CA) was the son of Taylor Blake DIRICKSON & Virginia SHEEHAN.

Taylor Blake DIRICKSON was b. 31 Aug 1888 in Bentonville, Benton Co, ARK. He d. 4 Oct 1958 in Tulsa, Tulsa Co, OK - he was the son of Turk W. DIRICKSON & Flora BLAKE (according to death cert. for Taylor Blake DIRICKSON from OK).

Taylor Blake DIRICKSON's parents were both born in TX according to the 1930 US Census for Taylor B. DIRICKSON in Tulsa, OK.

Taylor Blake DIRICKSON may have had at least two sisters:
Tommie K. (Dirickson) CONNERLY (b. 1876 TX - d. 1958 CA)
Harriett Francis (Dirickson) SIZER (b. 1886 ARK - d. 1958 CA)

Both females are listed in the Calif. Death Index as having mothers maiden name BLAKE & father's surname DIRICKSON.

Would love any information that anyone might have on this branch of the DIRICKSON family.

I'm afraid I haven't a clue to your ancestors...you would have to go back further in time to find any connections, probably. Dirickson/Derrickson isn't a very common name...you have to look for different spellings. My husband's GGrandfather came from a family that went from the DELMARVA area to TN in the early 1800's, then up to southern OH, to IL by the 1860's, and then to Carter Co., MO.

Several months ago I got an email from you. I thought I had replied but maybe I didn't. I was doing a little search today and ran across your name again. I barely remember your grandfather Clarence, (who was my dad George's brother). I do remember your grandmother, Irene. Who is your Dad? I guess that Bonnie is then your aunt. I have been wanting to get in touch with her. Can you get me her address? We were quite close as cousins at one time.

I have evidence that Edwards father's name was John. I don't have 100% proof though. I am getting quite a little following of people since I have first posted a message. It would be nice if we could get all of our information combine. I do have have ged.com file but I have to update it. Will try to get this done this next month for everybody. Your grandmother Delphia, was my grandfathers sister his name was Clarence Andrew Dearixon. Clarence son of Edward Arthur Dearixon and Stella Burlingame. I believe that Edwards father was Arthur Dearixon but I'm not sure. Unfortunatly I hav'nt been able to go back any farther can you help me?

My grandparents still live in Woodlawn, Il. and My grandpa remembers a lot about Rachel Elsabeth (they called her Ella, thats where her daughter my ggrandmother Ella Bernice got her name). Looking for information on a Sam or Wilson Dirickson (may be one person: Samuel Wilson Dirickson), born 1871 in Tennessee. Wilson is in the 1880 Smith Co., TN census, age 9, with father S. Dirickson & mother Ada. Sam W. Dirickson is in the 1900 Dyer Co., TN census, age 29, as a school teacher & he is also a census enumerator in that county.

Sonya, I am also trying to find out about some of my family
in Missouri. Their name wa Dearixon (too weird, huh?). I
know so little, but... My grandmother was Delphia Ellen Dearixon.
She was born 1-3-1910. Her parents were Edward Arthur and Stella
Evelyn Burlingame Dearixon. Edward A.died in 1924; I don't know
his birthdate. His father was Arthur Dearixon, married to Margaret
Nevins. I'm sure these are all variations of the same family
name, but I do believe mine is the strangest! If you have any info
