My Grandmother's mother was named Disharoon, and there seems to be virtually no records as to her birth, or whereabouts before her death.

Anyone with any info on ANY part of the family, would be a start in the right direction.

Is the family from black heritage and ancestry? I believe it might be, but have never been able to prove nor disprove the rumor.
