Looking for information on Walter Eugene Disher last known address Snellville, GA. Mr. Disher posted a Box family tree on the World Family Tree Vol. 7, Tree 0454 in which he lists our Box family descendants of Reuben Franklin Box (1808), but differs from our family history of Reuben's ancestors. Would like where he got our family through present generation and also the ancestors, Do you have any information on Mr. Disher of the Box family?

I came across a professionally taken photo with the handwritten note 'John and Mat Disher, Springfield, Oregon' on the back. It originally said 'John Putnams' but the Putnams was crossed out. This photo was in with my husband's family photos but he says they aren't related to him. His family were wheat farmers in Washington and Oregon, can only speculate that the Disher's were family friends. It's a very nice photo, and John looks very distinguished with his suit, wire rimmed glasses, and watch fob. I'd be happy to send it to anyone who is related. (My husband told me to throw it away...AAAAK!)

May father's name is Benjamin Richard Disher, SR, and his father is Marion R(ichard) Disher. I know he had a brother, Charlie R Disher, who recently died and lived in Sumter SC. I also know he served in the Army in WWII and died in 1954. Anything else would be greatly helpful.

Hello,

I was at a specialty store recently that's getting ready for halloween, and I found a basket of "instant relatives" photos.

There is a photo, looks ot be late 1800's or early 1900's of a "Mr. & Mrs. Disher". The photo is taken by Belle Oudry photo studio at 1121 Washington Street, Oakland, CA.

This picture is going for $2 from the specialty store. If these are your relatives, I can rescue the picture and send it to you. All I ask for is the reimbursement of the $2 to buy the picture from the shop and send it to you.
