My grandmothers uncles name is Ejner or Ejnar Ditlevsen; the only thing we know so far is that he was good at drawing and unmarried. She was born in 1901, so he would be a generation older.

Maybe that is him?

Ditlevsen ancestors

My grandfather, Richard Ditlevsen, imigrated to the US in 1912 from Copenhagen Denmark. We have no information on his family other than he brought his wife, Sofie, and daughter, my mother, was 3 yr old when they crossed. We have tried, also, to find more information, but it seems there are a lot of Ditlevsens which makes it harder to trace. Good Luck.
