Jim, I know its been 4 yrs since this posting, but i have picked up sticks for this side of the family again. I now have a better understanding of the family situation, and understand exactly how you are related (for the most part). vincent monti married theresa damiano first, at age 16, and died soon after. she then married anthony ditro.
yesterday i attended a meeting of the society of st anthony at grant and bustleton aves. it was my first meeting, but to my understanding (if youve ever seen the only picture of anthony ditro) anthony was a member of this society, when it was located in tacony and was called (..society of frankford) before it was incorporated officially in 1917. the next meeting i go to im going to bring his picture and look thru their records. now, if he was in fact a member, then the ditro family would be from longano, molise. there are members that i met last night that have DITRI blood in them. Im not sure, but i guess it was americanized to DITRO, because it is such an uncommon name. its all very confusing. regardless, i would still like your assistance in completing the christy tree. i have much info on the ditros.
best regards
Nick Griffith
