DEATHS IN Kansas CITY.
Julia Ann DITZLER, the wife of the late Hugh H. DITZLER,
died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Dr. Rebecca
DITZLER STEWART, 515 South Drury Avenue. She was
80 years old and leaves four generations of descendants,
including seventy-four great-grandchildren.
She had lived in Kansas City eight years, but was a pioneer
settler of Missouri. She was born and reared in Stark County,
Ohio. Her husband and four brothers fought with the Northern
army in the Civil War. In the battle of Chickamauga one brother
was killed and another wounded.
She is survived by three daughters and two sons. They are
Doctor STEWART, Mrs. Walter HOWE, and Charles S.
DITZLER, all of Kansas City; Mrs. C. F. COURTNEY of
Streator, Ill., and John DITZLER of Wetumka, Ok.
Funeral services will be held at the home of Dr. Rebecca
STEWART this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, after which the
body will be sent to her former home, Eldorado Springs, Mo.
