CARL BRYON DIVELEY, 86 of Brownstown, Illinois, died at 8:45pm Sunday, September 5, 1982, in Fayette County Hospital, Vandalia, Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm Wednesday in Bethany Christian Church, with Charles Wogman and John Bender officiating. Burial will be at the Forbis Cemetery, Sefton Township, Claggett Funeral Home, Brownstown, is in charge of arrangements. Visitation is from 6 to 9pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials: Bethany Cemetery Fund. Mr. Diveley was born August 25, 1896 in Sefton Township, son of George O. Diveley and Catherine Carson. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Bethany Christian Church. He married Alta Mae Durbin on May 20, 1915. She died October 22, 1967. Surviving are his daughter Mrs Virgil (Mildred) Turner of Brownstown; seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. One son Logan, seven brothers and three sister proceeded him in death.
