I am related to the Dixons in Grenada, MS also. My great-grandmother was Martha Lee Dixon, who married Gordon Ewell Peacock. Martha Lee was the daughter of John F. Dixon and his wife, Emma Jane Caffey. Emma Jane is buried at the Cox-Carver cemetery, and Martha Lee is buried at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Emma Jane was the daughter of Henry Caffey and Levina Thompson Caffey, who are buried at Red Hill (Providence). Gordon Ewell Peacock's sister, Anna Olivia (Leavy) Peacock was married to William Lafayette (Faye) Dixon, brother to John F. Dixon. I believe Arthur Dixon, Sr. was the son of Faye and Leavy Dixon.
