He was born on September 20, 1942 in Bac Giang, Viet-Nam. He came to the United States in 1975 with his family and settled in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He is survived by his wife; four children; and two grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2011 and 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2011 at the Nie Family Funeral Home, Carpenter Rd. Chapel, 2400 Carpenter Rd., Ann Arbor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 411 Florence Street, Ypsilanti, MI 48197.
