I'm looking for some information regarding James W. Doak, born 1803 in VA and died 1847 in Delaware County, Iowa. He and his daughter, Frances D. Doak, died within a day of each other - he was 44 and she was 3. He and his wife also had a son, James Doak, but I do not have any information on him.

Many of the Family Trees have him married to a Mary Wyrick, but I have not found a marriage record for this and would appreciate anyone who has information on this family to contact me through Ancestry or a joni@mcburney.ca
