Evelyn Archer Doane was my grandmother. Her family was from Boston Mass. Old yankee roots. Her husband , my grandfather was Albert Horsman who imigrated from Germany as a child. I am decended on my fathers side from Richard Taylor who came to Barnstabe Mass from England about 1622. My line migrated to Kent / Warren Connecticut in the early to mid 1700's. Taylors built the church that is on the green in Warren Ct. and owned much of what is now the center of town. I am most interested in the Doane or Archer line in Boston.
