Does anyone know who Mahlan C. Doane is? He is buried in the Butler Family Cemetery in Cocke County, TN. The dates on his stone are Feb 15, 1844 - Jan 6, 1900. I was told that he was preaching a revival when he died. I would like to know if he was ever married are the parent of any children. If any one could help me I would appreciated it.
