Info I have so far John Dobie & Janet Wood (~1774-1777) issue; Margaret (b.1777 Carluke), William (b.1780 Carluke), Robert (b.1782 Carluke-believe this is a child), Janet (b.1785 Carluke-believe this is a child), George (b.1780 Lanark), Anna (b.1793 Lanark).
From William Dobie (1780Carluke-abt 1852 Lanark) m. Agnes Harrower (b.1793 Carnwath-d.1877 Castlegate), married 1822 Lanark. There is an email from a Polly Hamilton that states that this was William's 2nd marriage but don't have any info in which to pursue info. Issue; Matthew (1822-1843), George (1824-1898)(m. Margaret Fraser), Janet (1826-1843), Lockhart (1829-1891)(m. Jane Henderson), Susan (1832-1907)(m. David Ogg), Alexander (1835-1898)(direct line-see below).
Alexander (b.1835 Lanark - d.23sep1898 Lanark) m.07Oct1859 Edinburgh Midlothian Joanna McKenzie (b.1834-39 to d.02Jan1900) daughter of John & Helen Ross. Believed to have only had one child William Dobie b.27aug1860 Edinburgh - d.29oct1888 Carstairs Junction Lanark.
William Dobie (1860-1888) m. 22nov1886 Carnwath Lanark Margaret Graham (1862 -????) daughter of James & Margaret Linton. Issue; Alexander Dobie b.26may1888 Carnwath Lanark - d.22May1967 Carmel Valley, Monterey, California, USA.
