My fourh great grandmother was born 13 July 1820 In Makerstown, Roxburg, Scotland. Her parents were Andrew Dobbie and Christian Knox. She married Francis Wilson from Haddingtonshire in May 1845, and migrated to the USA in 1855, settling in Delhi, Delaware County, Iowa in May of that year. She had a brother named James in Scotland probably born in 1823 or 4 and a sister born after that. She had 6 children; Charles born in 1846 in Gordon, Scotland, Andrew born in 1850 in Haddington Scotland, Francis born in 1852 in Greenlaw, Scotland, a daughter, Christine born in 1855 in Greenlaw, Scotland and a son James born in Delhi, Iowa, USA in 1857, and another daughter born in Delhi in 1861.
