Well, I dont' know if I can help much. Most of the info I have seems to be TN, KY, and AR. But, I have an Elizabeth Dobbs, who was 49 in the 1850 Gwinnett County, GA census, she married Alfred Yancy, July 31, 1822 in Hall County, GA. It shows that Elizabeth's mother was also born in Georgia. Not sure who that was though. Alfred and Elizabeth's children were: (or those in their household at time of 1850 census): Arminda age 18, Chapman age 14, James A. age 13, Robert E. 12, Elizabeth 10, Roair 5, Jared 2. It also shows that Alfred Yancy was born in North Carolina.
