I too have Dockery Ancestors, from Kilmore, Specifically Hugh Dockery who was married to Joan Simpson. They had at least 7 children – John, James, Maria Jane (my gg grandmother), Hubert Thomas, Brigid Catherine, Sarah. I have traced the lineages of Maria, Sarah and Catherine.
Hugh ran a shop that incorporated a Post Office, a grocery, and a pub. He was also a Prebendary Magistrate and a Clerk of the Petty Sessions.
His house still stands and is now a grade II listed thatched cottage.
