Surnames: dockery,
Dockery is an Irish name. They are all located in the Lough Garra area in County Roscommon, Ireland. It has been said they originally came from France around 1685 when the Huguenots were forced to flee from France. My family originated in Co. Roscommon, My fathers name was Thomas, one of a family of 13 children, and whose direct descendants have spread world-wide. My father Thomas was born in 1906 and his father would have been born approx 1870.
