      <description>My Husband is Elzie Edward Docter, Jr.  His father of course was Elzie Edward Docter, Sr.  His mothers name was Nellie Kirby.  They had 4 children of which two have disceased.  As far as I know they lived around the Lima, Ohio area.  My husband had an uncle Fred but his wife's name was Gladys, they had 8 children and lived in Cinn.&lt;br&gt;Maybe Gladys was a second wife, I have no idea.  I am just getting into the Docter family and would like any information available to get started.  thank you</description>

      <description>Lima, Ohio News ~ 3 Feb. 1920&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;COLD CAUSES DEATH OF THREE-YEAR-OLD GIRL&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Ruth Mary Elizabeth HUSTER, three-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank HUSTER, 719 E. Franklin Street, died at the home of her parents Tuesday morning.  She had been ill from a heavy cold and complications developed.  The child was born in Lima.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;===========================================================&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I am not related to this person in any way.  I just found the article in the Lima, Ohio Newspaper.</description>

      <description>I only know a Carl Dokter who's father  was born in The Netherlands in the beginning of 1900.&lt;br&gt;This father moved to the US I think in 1920. I have a copy of your Van Engelenhoven book on my desk right now!  I borrowed it from my mother.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;My mother is Valerie (Klein) Gardner, daughter of Norma (Dykstra) Klein, daughter of Jennie (Van Engelenhoven) Dykstra.  I'm having great fun researching Genealogy.
