My grandmother was born Mary Elizabeth Dodd, date unknown. she married George William Hancock on 27 May 1906 at Cobridge, Stafford. She died on the 26 Mar 1931 at Stoke & was buried on the 30 Mar 1931. Their only child was born Jack Hancock on 28 May 1906 who was my father. My g/mother's father was named Richard Dodd who married Maria June ?????, born c 29 Sep 1827?. I have gathered this info while attempting to research the hancock side of my family.
