According to Robert's Pension papers he applied for the Pension in 1887, when it first came available for the civil war soldiers. He applied in Thorn Hill (Thornville), Marion county, Alabama. they moved to clay county arkansas about 1879-80 because Theoffles Franklin, Bob Guthrie's grandfather was 8 mos old at that time. All of the other children before theoffles was born in Alabama. Acording to the Pension papers Robert L. divorced her in 1894 in Piggott, Arkansas and she moved back to Natural Bridge, winston county Arkansas. We are stuck at her and Robert L Guthrie. the papers, which should have given their birth information was too faded to get any copy of them. Hope you can help.
