After finally knocking a brick out of my husband's family tree brick wall, I have a lead on his great grandmother Matilda Dodgen who married Wesley Patterson in Transylvania Co., NC in 1866. Wesley was born in SC. They settled in Polk Co.,AR. Would appreciate any information you have on either.
