Doe Island is in the Piscataquis river which flows into the Penobscot river at HOwland, ME. The island is part of the main land now as the river changed course.My hook up with Ol' NIck is thru his son JOhn (1669-1745)thruDan,Jeremiah,Reuben to Jacob who lived on Doe's Island. Best Regards.
