Johan Wolfgang Doerfler changed to Dafler upon entry to US abt. Dec. 7, 1839. Born on June 20, 1798 in Beyreuth, Germany, he came To US with brother, John Kunrad Doerfler (Dafler), his sister-in-law Anna Catherine and their two children, Johan and Anna Barbara.
Johan Wolfgang married Rosanna Catherine Rumler in the US bef. 1842. She was born on Sept 6, 1825 in Wittenberg, Germany, and they had 12 little Daflers. They were: John, David, Christian, Rosanna, Lewis, Elizabeth, Margaret, Melchior, Wesley, Charles, Upton, and John Earhart.
I have decendents of some of the line, but need help on the ancestors in Germany. Would be happy to share info on decendents.
