I have a Gustave Lavern Augustus Doerr, born Dec 1904 and died Dec 19, 1945. He was my Grandmothers 2nd husband, Alice. He is buried in Camas Valley, Oregon. His grave registration says Illnois Chief Mac. USN. I know the spelling of Illnois is wrong but that is the way it was spelled. I remember that grandma said they were stationed in China before WWII.

I am trying to locate any family or records on him for my family genealogy.
