Hi Debbie,

We corresponded some years ago when I took over the Doheny group on Rootsweb.

At least your names and dates for Patrick and Ellen match up. The interesting thing that I saw right away in what you just sent is the reference to Scully. I have a Sarah Doheny (1868-1947) married c1888 to a James M Scully (1858-1934). The marrriage took place at St Thomas Catholic Church in Jessenland, Sibley County, MN. Both were born in Jessenland and are buried there.

My Doheny records actually go back to a Walter Doheny (1768-c1836) and his wife Catherine Connelly (1793-c1836). They were married in 1812 and had six children including Thomas Patrick (1816-1893).

Patrick Morrissey who married a Margaret Ryan c1814 in or near Ballfowloo, Cashel, Tipperary. They had a daughter named Honorah, born in 1818. She married Thomas Patrick Doheny in 1837. They were my great great grandparents.
