Dear Larry
My family tree under user profile ShaynevanRensburg shows Agnes Grace Daugherty born abt 1870 in Tipperary. Her Great-granddaughter tells me that she emigrated to Indian with her parents (names?) who were Missionaries. She married George David Boyd, a fuel inspector on the East Indian Railway at Sahibganj near Bhagalpur in Bengal.
After her husband died in abt 1925/6 in Burma, we think, Agnes came back to India with her daughter Dorothy Mavis Boyd b Ywa Tung, St Cecilia's Church, Sagaing, Mandalay 1908, and they lived with relatives. Agnes finally died in about 1950 in a Methodist Home for the Families of Missionaries.
Any possible information you might be able to provide regarding her parents and her ancestry prior to the facts stated above would be amazing!! Good luck with your quest and thank you, too. Kind regards Shayne van Rensburg (Mrs) Plettenberg Bay, South Africa
