41 Dohertys on the Ship Hannah Kerr arr NY 14 May 1851
There were 41 Doherty's on this Londonderry to New York ship. I believe my ancestors were on board but have not yet confirmed. Does anyone know what prompted so many families to immigrate at the same time and from where they originated in Ireland?
