PALMYRA
"Helen M. DOHNER, 92, formerly of Palmyra, died Thursday in Cedar Haven, Lebanon.
She retired as cafeteria manager from the former Palmyra High School, where she established the school lunch program in 1959. She also had been a cook at Lebanon Valley College, Mount Gretna summer camps and the W.L. Kreider shoe factory.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she also was a cook; and a member of the Dorcas Sunday School Class, Farm Women Group 3 and the Mount Lebanon Camp Meeting Auxiliary.
Surviving are a son, Allen H., and a daughter, Betty ZIMMERMAN, both of Palmyra; two sisters, Roth DOHNER of Lebanon and Dorothy HITZ of Campbelltown; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday in Rothermel Funeral Home, Palmyra. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, North Londonderry Twp.
Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to her church, Birch and Green Streets, Palmyra 17078."
